Copy trading software that turns your best traders into a product
Followers pick a lead trader, set how much to risk, and every futures position the leader opens is copied into their account automatically. Leaders earn a share of their followers' profit, so good traders have a reason to trade on your exchange.
How copy trading works on your exchange
Copy trading lets people who do not have the time or experience to trade futures follow someone who does. The follower decides how much money to put behind a leader and the limits on each trade. After that, the platform does the work: when the leader opens a position, a matching position opens for the follower; when the leader closes, the follower's copy closes too.
Everything happens inside your exchange, with real futures positions on your markets. Followers keep control of their money and can stop copying at any time.
Browse leaders
Sort lead traders by ROI, profit, win rate or followers and open their profiles.
Set up a copy
Choose the investment, how each trade is sized, leverage, and stop-loss rules.
Positions follow
New positions from the leader are copied within seconds, scaled to the follower's settings.
Close and settle
When a copied position closes with profit, the leader's share is paid automatically.
Lead trader profiles and the lead trader center
Followers choose based on numbers, so every leader has a public profile built from their actual trades.
What a profile shows
- ROI and profit over the selected period, with a chart
- Win rate and number of trades
- Current followers and the follower limit
- Profit share percentage
- Open positions and closed trade history
Becoming a lead trader
Users apply from the lead trader center. You can require verified identity and approve each application by hand, or let applications through automatically. Leaders set their profit share and bio, and see their followers and earnings in the same place.
Risk settings every follower sets
Copying blindly is how followers lose money and leave. These settings let them copy with limits they understand.
Investment
The total amount the copy may use. No copied trade can go beyond it.
Sizing
A fixed amount per trade, or a ratio of the margin the leader uses, with a maximum per trade.
Leverage
Follow the leader's leverage or use a fixed one, never above the cap you set as operator.
Take-profit and stop-loss
Per copied trade, as a percentage of ROI.
Copy stop-loss
Stop the whole copy and close its positions when total losses reach a set level.
Transparency
Every copied trade, and any trade that was skipped with the reason why.
My copies
Followers see each active copy with invested amount, current PnL, open copied positions and the history of settled trades, refreshed live. Stopping a copy closes its positions and returns the margin to the follower's balance.
The same screens are in the mobile app (Enterprise), reached from the futures screen.
How positions are copied and settled
The moment a lead trader's futures position becomes active, the platform opens a copy for every follower. Each copy is sized from the follower's settings and checked against their balance, their investment limit and the market's minimum order. When a copy cannot be opened, it is skipped and the reason is recorded for the follower.
When the leader closes or is liquidated, every copy closes too. A follower's copy can also close earlier through its own take-profit, stop-loss or the copy stop-loss.
On a profitable close, the leader's profit share is calculated from the realised profit and moved to the leader's account. Settlement runs once per trade, even if a job is retried.
Event-driven
Copies open from the leader's position change, not a slow polling loop.
Settled once
Profit sharing cannot be paid twice for the same trade.
Real positions
Copies are normal futures positions with mark price and liquidation.
Normal fees
Every copied trade pays your normal futures fees.

Copy trading software questions
What does copy trading copy?
Futures positions. When a lead trader opens a long or short, a matching position opens for each follower, sized by the follower's settings, and it closes when the leader closes.
How do lead traders earn?
They set a profit share percentage, up to the maximum you allow. When a copied trade closes in profit, that share of the follower's profit goes to the leader automatically.
Can followers limit their risk?
Yes. They set a total investment, size per trade, leverage, take-profit and stop-loss per trade, and a stop-loss for the whole copy.
Who can become a lead trader?
Any user who applies from the lead trader center, subject to your rules. You can require KYC and approve each leader by hand.
Does copy trading need the futures module?
Yes. Copies are futures positions, so futures must be enabled on the markets you want copied. See futures exchange software.
Is it in the mobile app?
Yes. The app includes the leader list, profiles, copy setup, my copies with live updates and the lead trader center.
